SkyWatcher EQ6 and NEQ6 Latitude Adjustment Bolts (1x Adjust + 1x Lock). Standard SkyWatcher Latitude Bolts, as originally supplied with the EQ6 and NEQ6 mounts.
Not suitable for EQ6-R or AZ-EQ6 mounts.

Best practice is to always pay attention to the following when adjusting latitude:

Loosen the opposite (North) screw first.
Especially when heavier telescopes are mounted, you should ?assist? by relieving much of the weight on the counterweight bar when Latitude is raised, so the South bolt doesn?t have to move the whole load.
Do not use excessive force when locking the final position with the North bolt.

If these precautions are followed you can avoid damage to the bolts, internal ?tongue? and threads in the mount casting ? preserving your investment.
