Hyperion Finetuning Ring 14mm for Baader Hyperion Eyepieces and M48 extension
Extension ring with M48x0.75 thread on both sides and an optical length of 14mm. The ring is made of black anodized aluminium.
Hyperion extension ring assembly Increases the magnification of a Hyperion eyepiece by ca. 23%
Screw the extension ring between the Hyperion`s barlow element and the main body and the eyepiece`s focal length is reduced by ca. 23%.
You also can use the ring as an extension tube to find the right distance (astrophotography).
