This large aperture Newtonian reflecting telescope is ideal for observing the faint deep sky objects outside the solar system. With the included 4 mm eyepiece you can also use it to observe the moon and planets.
The equatorial mount is specially designed for observing the sky: if you align it with Polaris, you only have to adjust the telescope in one axis afterwards, for example if you are observing planets at high magnification.
The AstroMaster telescopes
If you are looking for a versatile telescope for both celestial and terrestrial observation, then look no further than the AstroMaster series. The image-erecting overview eyepiece (with Newtonian telescopes) delivers upright, right-sided images.
An AstroMaster not only offers breathtaking views of the moon, Saturn with its rings, Jupiter with its bands and moons, nebulae and star clusters. You can also monitor solar activity with an optional solar filter.
