Available for easily upgrading the standard (non-PRO) mountings for computerised GO-TO capabilities. Kits comprise V.3 SynScanTM-Flash Upgradeable GO-TO handset, 2 x Stepper Motors for DEC and R.A. Drives, Replacement Control Panel / Motor Board, Hand Control Cable, Cable Clamp and Hand Control Holder (12V D.C. Power Supply required - not supplied). For PRO version it is necessary to order polarscope.
The SynScan EQ3 GoTo upgrade kit is a complete set enabling the conversion of the traditional Sky-Watcher EQ3-2 equatorial mount to the Pro version, which is perfect for both visual observations and astrophotography setups.
The drive of the declination and right ascension axes is realized by stepper motors. The torque is transferred to the axes by means of durable gears. Thanks to the inclusion of all the necessary accessories in the set, their assembly is trouble-free and very intuitive.
The entire set is controlled by the SynScan controller, whose software is responsible for, among other things, periodic error control and-backlash-reduction, and has a huge database of astronomical objects.
Note! Only a power supply with a cigarette lighter plug is included in the set. The appropriate mains power supply must be purchased separately.
